New Elementary School Building Project Community Forum

All of our families and community members are invited to our next Community Forum to learn the latest information about the New Elementary School Building Project. The forum will take place Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 6pm at the Gibbons School (235 Morton St.).

We are currently in the feasibility study phase of the project, which allows us to examine and evaluate all of the issues and determine the best course of action. As part of this process, we are discussing building a larger school that would be able to hold more of our elementary students and would allow us to go from our current five elementary schools to four. This would ultimately result in redistricting - redrawing the boundary lines for each elementary school.

While none of these proposed plans would impact our families until the project nears completion, this is an important discussion to have as we plan for our future.
