Bus Registration Period Now Open
Attention Stoughton Public Schools families looking for bus transportation for the 2024-2025 school year: The registration period for bus transportation for 2024-2025 is now open and runs through Friday, June 28, 2024. The registration form is available on the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Click here for more information and for instructions on how to register. Bilingual Bus Registration Night on May 28
The SPS English Language Education (ELE) Department and English Learner Parent Advisory Council (ELPAC) is holding a bilingual bus registration night on Tuesday, May 28 from 6-8pm at Stoughton High. Interpreters will be available to assist bilingual families with the bus registration process. Click here for more information.
School Committee Meeting on May 28
The Stoughton School Committee will be meeting on Tuesday, May 28 in the conference room at the SPS District Office, 31 Pierce St. The public portion of the meeting starts at 7pm. At 7pm, there will be a school choice public hearing. An agenda for the meeting can be found here.
Elementary School Fine Arts Nights
The South School and Dawe School will be holding their spring fine arts nights this week. In addition to a display of student artwork in grades K-5, the elementary school fine arts nights also feature performances from the 4th and 5th grade band and chorus. The Gibbons School and Hansen School had their fine arts nights last week. The full schedule of upcoming elementary fine arts nights is below:
South - May 29, art show opens at 5pm; concert starts at 6pm
Dawe - May 31, 6-8pm
Wilkins - June 4, 5-6:30pm
SHS Senior Events
This Thursday, May 30 is the Stoughton High Prom for the SHS Class of 2024, and on Sunday, June 2 scholarship winners for the SHS Class of 2024 will be announced at Scholarship Knight. More information about events for the SHS Class of 2024, including Class Night and Graduation, can be found here.
Save the date - SHS Sports Awards Night
Join the Stoughton High Athletics Department at the SHS Sports Awards Night next Monday, June 3 at 6:30pm in the SHS Auditorium. This will be a night to recognize this year's sports awards winners from the fall, winter, and spring seasons. The Athletics Department will be celebrating this year's team achievements, MVPs, sportsmanship award winners, scholar athlete award winners, Triple Crown award winners, and Hockomock League All-Stars and honorable mentions.
Registration for Next School Year (2024-2025)
Attention families with students entering preschool or kindergarten in September, or with a student entering grades 1-12 who did not attend the Stoughton Public Schools this school year: The Stoughton Public Schools online pre-registration portal for next school year (2024-2025 school year) is now open. Please visit our Central Registration Office website for more information about the pre-registration process.
