Spring Author Series Event Cancelled
Please note that the Spring Author Series event with Marietta Apollonio at the South School scheduled for Monday, May 20 has been cancelled. We will let you know if it will be rescheduled. Thank you for your understanding and for your support of the Spring Author Series!
Bus Registration Starts May 20th
Attention Stoughton Public Schools families looking for bus transportation for the 2024-2025 school year: The registration period for bus transportation for 2024-2025 opens today, Monday, May 20, 2024 and runs through Friday, June 28, 2024. The registration form is available on the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Click here for more information and for instructions on how to register. New Elementary School Building Project Community Forum
The next community forum about the new elementary school building project will be this Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
There will be a virtual forum at noon via Zoom. Click here to register for the virtual forum.
There will be an in-person forum at 6:30pm at the South Elementary School, 171 Ash St. Tours of the current South School building will be provided following the presentation and question and answer session at the in-person forum.
5th Grade Showcase Night at the OMS
Attention families of current 5th grade students who will be attending the O'Donnell Middle School for 6th grade next school year: The OMS is holding a showcase night on Wednesday, May 22 at 6:30pm at the middle school (211 Cushing St.) so families and students can learn more about what to expect in 6th grade. Students and parents/guardians can meet the OMS administration, school counselor, nurse, learn about the middle school, and go on a self-guided tour.
Elementary School Fine Arts Nights
The Gibbons School and Hansen School will be holding their spring fine arts nights this week. In addition to a display of student artwork in grades K-5, the elementary school fine arts nights also feature performances from the 4th and 5th grade band and chorus. The full schedule of elementary fine arts nights is below:
Gibbons - May 20, 5:30-7:30pm
Hansen - May 23, 5-6:30pm
South - May 29, art show opens at 5pm; concert starts at 6pm
Dawe - May 31, 6-8pm
Wilkins - June 4, 5-6:30pm
Registration for Next School Year (2024-2025)
Attention families with students entering preschool or kindergarten in September, or with a student entering grades 1-12 who did not attend the Stoughton Public Schools this school year: The Stoughton Public Schools online pre-registration portal for next school year (2024-2025 school year) is now open. Please visit our Central Registration Office website for more information about the pre-registration process.
