 SUPPLY LIST- SEPTEMBER 2011
The following items will help each student be prepared and organized for the valuable learning we do every day.
KINDERGARTEN |
- Backpack – LARGE ENOUGH to hold a snack, a lunch, their papers and their folder.
- Two Pocket Folder with his/her first and last name on the cover – this is our communication messenger – this should be returned to school EACH DAY. We will send home the folder daily, carrying notices for you and papers that the children have done. We ask that you check the folder every night and please return the folder every morning for lunch/milk money, returned notices or notes from you. (Please remember to have your child’s backpack and lunchbox clearly labeled with his/her name to avoid any confusion at “pack up” time.)
- Crayola 8 pack Crayons and Crayola 16 or 24 pack Crayons
- 6 Large Glue Sticks (preferably not the purple gluesticks)
- Change of clothes – shirts, pants, underwear, socks in case of any accidents or spills. Please put the clothes in a ziplock bag with your child’s name on it.
- Beach/Bath towel with your child’s name on it – for the month of September we will have rest time and the children will lie on their towels.
- 1” 3 ring binder with your child’s name on it.

GRADE ONE |
- a backpack (labeled with your name)
- a snack and a drink every day in a labeled lunchbox
- several sharpened pencils
- a pencil/crayon box
- 6 large glue sticks
- 1 bottle of Elmers type glue
- 1 box of 24 crayons
- colored pencils
- Fiskar type scissors (labeled with a Sharpie marker)
- washable markers (thick AND skinny)
- 2 highlighters
- 2 clean socks (to be used as white board erasers)
- headphones for the computer (labeled with your name) - Ms. Barry's class only
- a family size box of tissues ( to share with the class)
- a clipboard
- a package of baby wipes

GRADE THREE |
- A backpack/bag to carry everything safely home
- A healthy snack and a water bottle every day
- 6 large glue sticks (to be replaced as needed)
- 2 family size boxes of tissues (to share with the class)
- 2 bottles of glue
- crayons
- scissors, Fiskars are the best
- several highlighters (any color)
- plenty of sharpened pencils
- 2 clean socks (to be used as white board erasers)
- 1 covered pencil sharpener
- small hand sanitizer
- 1 roll of scotch tape
- art smock (for art class)
- a few pads of sticky notes (any shape, size, color is fine)
- 2-inch binder (personalized at home with photos or pictures on the front cover, name on the side ~ make it your own)
- 1 package of notebook filler paper for binder
- clear pouch for pens (put into binder)
- pens: black (drafting), blue (revising), red (editing), green (correcting)
- solid red folder
- solid green folder
- solid purple folder
- solid yellow folder (Science folder)
- solid blue folder Social Studies folder)
- 1 subject wide-ruled yellow notebook (labeled: MATH)
